Where California's Community College Coaches Connect!

This site provides a place for all of our member coaches as well as other affiliates to connect.  By posting in our upcoming forums, providing your schedule, checking our event calendar or sending private messages to specific members you will be able to stay on top of all the latest events, results and progress for the 2007 season!

El Camino College Wins 2007 California State Championship!!

In one of the most improbable finishes in Elite Eight history, El Camino College became the first team to win a state title by winning two matches on the final day plus a 1-game playoff that decided the title.
          The Warriors captured their first title since 1983 when its current coach LeValley Pattison was the Most Valuable Player of that tournament. Pattison is the first person to win a state title in community college volleyball as a player and a head coach. It’s also El Camino’s third state title overall in the sport (winning also in 1981). Now in her sixteenth season as head coach, Le Valley Pattison led El Camino College to a 25-2 record in 2006, and a South Coast Conference Championship.  El Camino entered the Southern California Regional Playoffs as the No. 1 seed, ranked No. 2 in the California Community College Women’s Volleyball Coaches Association Poll.  The Lady Warriors advanced to the quarterfinals of the COA Women’s Volleyball Championship, where they fell to eventual national runner-up LA Pierce.
